These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between you (“client,” “traveler,” “you,” or “your”) and Cedar Travel Co. (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Company”). By submitting a travel inquiry, booking travel services, making a payment, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Role of Cedar Travel Co.

Cedar Travel Co. acts as an independent travel agency. We arrange travel services on your behalf with third-party suppliers including, but not limited to:

  • Airlines

  • Cruise lines

  • Hotels and resorts

  • Tour operators

  • Transportation providers

  • Travel insurance companies

We do not own, operate, or control any of these suppliers. All travel services are subject to the terms, conditions, and liability limits of each supplier.

2. Payments & Pricing

A. Pricing

Prices are set by suppliers and may change at any time until paid in full. We are not responsible for price increases, availability changes, or supplier errors.

B. Deposits & Final Payments

  • Deposits are required to secure reservations.

  • Final payments must be received by the supplier’s deadline.

  • Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation or loss of deposit.

C. Payment Authorization

By submitting payment information, you authorize Cedar Travel Co. or the travel supplier to charge your card for all travel components selected.

We do not store full credit card numbers.

3. Cancellations, Refunds & Changes

A. Supplier Policies Govern

All cancellation, refund, and change policies are set by the supplier. These may include:

  • Non-refundable deposits

  • Change fees

  • Penalties

  • No refunds for certain fare types

Cedar Travel Co. is not responsible for supplier denials of refund requests.

B. Client Cancellation

If you choose to cancel or modify your trip:

  • You are responsible for any penalties applied by suppliers

  • Written notice may be required

  • Travel protection is strongly recommended

C. Agency Service Fees (If Applied)

Any agency service fees charged by Cedar Travel Co. are:

  • Non-refundable

  • Separate from supplier costs

  • Not covered by travel insurance

4. Travel Documents & Client Responsibilities

A. Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for providing correct legal names, birthdates, passport numbers, and all required information. Errors may result in:

  • Additional fees

  • Denied boarding

  • Cancellation of reservations

B. Passports & Visas

Clients are responsible for:

  • Ensuring passports are valid for required timeframes

  • Securing visas, entry permits, or vaccination requirements

  • Meeting destination-specific guidelines

Cedar Travel Co. is not liable for denied entry due to incomplete travel documentation.

C. Travel Protection

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Without coverage, you risk financial loss due to:

  • Cancellations

  • Medical emergencies

  • Weather disruptions

  • Lost baggage

  • Delayed flights

Declining insurance constitutes acceptance of full financial responsibility.

5. Risks of Travel

Travel may involve risks including:

  • Illness or injury

  • Loss or damage to property

  • Weather events

  • Delays or cancellations

  • Acts of nature or government

By booking, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with travel. Cedar Travel Co. is not responsible for damages or losses outside our control.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Cedar Travel Co. is not liable for any injury, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity resulting from acts or omissions of suppliers or third parties.

  • Our liability is limited to the amount of commission or fees earned by us for your booking.

  • We assume no responsibility for:

    • Supplier bankruptcy or default

    • Overbooking

    • Mechanical failures

    • Government actions

    • Epidemics, pandemics, or health-related events

7. Travel Advisors Working Under Cedar Travel Co.

If you book through an independent contractor (travel advisor) affiliated with Cedar Travel Co.:

  • They act as an independent contractor, not an employee.

  • Cedar Travel Co. is not responsible for representations or promises made outside official supplier policies.

8. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Misuse information

  • Attempt to access secure areas without authorization

  • Use our content for commercial purposes without permission

All content—including images, copy, and branding—is property of Cedar Travel Co.

9. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.

10. Disputes & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
Any disputes must be resolved through:

  • Good faith negotiation first

  • If unresolved, binding arbitration or small claims court in Ohio

You waive the right to participate in class-action claims.
