Your journey begins in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, where Seattle’s iconic skyline rises between Puget Sound and the Cascade Mountains. With Mount Rainier looming in the distance on a clear day, Crown Princess sails out across the Sound and turns north, setting the stage for the wild landscapes and dramatic scenery of Alaska ahead.

Head to the top deck for sailaway views of the Seattle skyline and Space Needle as Star Princess glides into Puget Sound, with the Olympic Mountains stretching across the horizon.

Monday, June 14, 2027 – At Sea

Your first full day aboard Star Princess gives you time to settle into ship life while the scenery of the Pacific Northwest unfolds around you. It’s also the perfect introduction to Alaska, with Princess’ North to Alaska programming bringing the destination onboard before you ever step ashore.

Attend the Welcome to Alaska presentation and meet the onboard naturalist for tips on wildlife, glaciers and what to watch for during the week.
Find a panoramic perch in The Dome or along the open decks, keeping binoculars handy for your first possible wildlife sightings.

Tuesday, June 15, 2027 – Ketchikan, Alaska

Alaska's "First City" clings to the hillsides above a busy waterfront where floatplanes buzz overhead and salmon run thick in the creeks. Ketchikan is the salmon capital of the world and home to the largest collection of standing totem poles anywhere.

Wednesday, June 15, 2027 – Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier (Scenic Cruising)

Wake up surrounded by one of the most dramatic landscapes of the entire voyage as Star Princess enters the narrow, glacier-carved waters of Endicott Arm. Waterfalls tumble down sheer cliffs, floating ice begins appearing around the ship and massive Dawes Glacier waits at the end of the fjord.

Head outside early with a warm drink and watch for harbor seals, bald eagles and waterfalls as the ship navigates deeper into the fjord.
